I am wondering if there is an extra fee for heating the pool during our stay?

We are delighted to inform you that there is no additional charge for heating the pool during your stay at Casa Azul.

How far is Casa Azul from FLL, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport?

Casa Azul is a short drive from FTL Airport, 20-30 minutes depending on the time of the day.

How far is Casa Azul from the beach?
There are numerous beaches to choose from. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Beach is a beautiful spot, and Casa Azul is conveniently located just 2 miles east.
To the north of Casa Azul you can find Pompano Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Deerfield Beach, Highland Beach, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth Beach, and West Palm Beach.
To the south of Casa Azul you can find Fort Lauderdale Beaches, Las Olas Beach, Dania Beach, Hollywood Beach, Golden Beach, Sunny isles Beach, and North Beach. A longer drive you can get to South Beach Miami, which is about an hour’s drive.
Can we have a small gathering of 15 -25 people for a family event?

Casa Azul has a strict rule about not having parties. In the case it is  a small gathering for a birthday or other type of family celebration, that is acceptable. We would expect that the gathering would occur during the day and not in the late evening hours. Fort Lauderdale has a noise ordinance. The ordinance states ABSOLUTELY NO LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE OUTSIDE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10PM TO 7AM. Also, the larger group will need to leave and no more than 8 people are allowed to stay overnight.

Can we bring our 2 dogs to stay with us at Casa Azul?

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we kindly request that guests limit their furry companions to a maximum of two dogs per stay. Additionally, we kindly ask that you inform us of the number of dogs you plan to bring before finalizing your booking.

As responsible pet owners ourselves, we trust that you’ll practice mindful ownership during your stay. This includes refraining from leaving your dogs unattended in the accommodation and diligently cleaning up after them.

Is there any flexibility for check-in and check-out time as my flights arrive and depart late?
Check-in and check-out times may have guests scheduled both before and after your stay. Here’s how we can assist:
For check-in on arrival day, we may be able to accommodate an early bag drop-off at around 1 PM. However, please note that our cleaning company will still be on-site until 4 PM to ensure the property is thoroughly prepared. During this time, you and your family may want to explore nearby dining options or activities until the cleaning is completed. Please ask about this drop-off bag option closer to the check-in date.
For check-out day, we typically cannot extend the time beyond 11 AM. It’s essential to vacate the property by then to allow our cleaning team to prepare for the next guests arriving at 4 PM.
What airports are near Casa Azul?

FLL – Fort lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is approximately 14 miles South of the home. It will take 15-20 minutes to drive, depending on the time of the day.

MIA – Miami International Airport is approximately 35 miles South of the house. It will take 40-60 minutes to drive, depending on the time of the day.

PBI – Palm Beach International Airport is approximately 38 miles North of the house. It will at 35-45 minutes to drive, depending on the time of the day.

Is there a discount if we book Casa Azul again next year?

If you book directly with Casa Azul on our website, https://BlueXPL.com, it will be discounted compared with booking through Airbnb or VRBO, since there will be no additional service fees.
