Policies

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 20% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 10 days prior to arrival. A separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of $300.00. Instead of directly charging for the damage deposit, a hold will be placed on the payment card on file upon arrival. It will be automatically released on 2 days after check-out, provided no charges apply.

Rules

NO-SMOKING: This is a NO-SMOKING property.
Occupants: Total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed.
Keys: An individual door code will be given upon check-in.
Parking: The front circular driveway of this property will easily fit 3-5 vehicles, refer to the image in this booklet that shows the site layout identifying the vehicle parking areas.
Wireless Internet Access WIFI: Network Name: CasaAzul, Password: sunnydays
Television: There are TVs located in the Living Room, Dining Area, and all 4 Bedrooms. Each TV is a smart TV that has FREE TV channels available. You can also connect to your desired streaming app during your stay, just don’t forget to sign-off before you leave.
Karaoke machine: The device is ready to go. Just plug it in and sing your heart out. The instructions can be found in the back of this guidebook.
Dogs: Clean up after your dog. When walking your dog, take a bagging with you to pickup the poo, then dispose of the bag into the garbage.
Garbage & Waste: Bins are located on the South side of the property beside the garage. The BLACK bin is for TRASH only. The BLUE bin is for RECYCABLES only. The large GREEN bis are for YARD WASTE only.Mondays are pick-up for Garbage, Recyclables, and Yard Waste. Thursdays are pick-up for Garbage only.
Please roll bins to the curb the night before pick-up days (Sundays and Wednesdays) as trucks come early in the morning.
Please return the bins from the curb when empty before midnight to avoid city fines. We, as well as our next guests greatly appreciate your assistance with this. If bins are overflowing with excess garbage, a $200 removal fee will apply for a special trip by waste management.
Amenities: We use environmentally and people safe products. Please help conserve energy by ensuring that all windows and doors are closed while the air conditioner is running. Recycling, when possible, also helps to keep the trash bin from overflowing. All trash and perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before departure.
Laundry: The Washer and Dryer are in an air-conditioned room accessed from the garage. To get there, go through the office to the garage and the laundry room door is near the overhead garage door. Please make sure the overhead garage door is closed while opening the laundry room door.
Toilets / Garbage Disposal: DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING BUT TOILET PAPER DOWN TOILETS. NO WET WIPES, NO BABY WIPES, NO FEMININE HYGENE PRODUCTS ETC. USE THE WASTE BASKETS NEXT TO THE TOILET FOR THOSE ITEMS. DO NOT PUT HARD ITEMS DOWN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL, SUCH AS BONES, EGG SHELLS, BANNANA PEELS, COFFEE GROUNDS, OR OTHER CLOGGING MATTER. The sewage system in Florida may be different than your home state or country. Should a plumber need to be called for these items in drains and/or pipes during your stay due to these items clogging the system, it will be at your expense. Weekend emergency plumbing service can be pricey.
Pool Area: Absolutely NO GLASSWARE AT THE POOL OR BACK PATIO AREAS. Plastic cups and dishes ONLY! They are available and located in the kitchen cupboards.
Umbrellas: Please keep umbrellas tied down when finish using them. Winds come up very quickly and are strong. When the umbrellas are open during high winds they can fly and snap easily. Thanks for your attention to this.
BBQ: Enjoy the propane gas grill in the pool patio area. There is a back-up propane tank of gas in the garage. Please remember to turn off the tank valve after each use. Also, please clean the grill after each use to keep pests away.
EV Charging Station: We have provided an EV Plug-in that is complementary for our guests ONLY. It is located on the left side of the overhead garage door. After use, please coil the cord back onto the rack and place the plug into the charger holster.
Pool Service: Occurs weekly. Please do not adjust the pool temperature. Also, be sure to keep the pool water level midway of the upper band of tiles. This pool does not have an autofill.
Landscaping Service: Occurs every 10 days. The schedule and time vary depending on the weather.
Noise: Vacation Rental are required by The City of Fort Lauderdale to be equipped with a noise level detection device alerting the property owner/representative and tenants to noise emanating from the Vacation Rental, and all data produced by this device will be retained for a period of 180 days and made available to the City upon request. We want to thank you in advance for respecting our property, our neighbors, our neighborhood, our community, our wildlife, and environment. Please be mindful and treat them as if they were your own. ABSOLUTELY NO LOUD MUSIC OR NOISE OUTSIDE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10PM TO 7AM. Per the City of Fort Lauderdale rules and regulations here is what is required. Sound shall not be plainly audible for a period of one (1) minute or longer at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. daily. Sound shall not be plainly audible for a period of one (1) minute or longer at a distance of fifty (50) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.

There are outdoor security cameras on the property to monitor the front and north side. For security reasons the owner can check cameras at any time. There are no cameras inside the home or in the private pool areas. We respect your privacy, so please respect the rules. No more than 8 overnight guests unless there is prior permission from the owner. Please adhere to all rules and regulations, or you will be asked to check-out with no refund.
By booking this home, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service in renting our space, and you certify that you will follow applicable laws and regulations, and acknowledge the rules and regulations mentioned to you in the home guide booklet provided or expressed to you by the owner. Any violation of the rules and regulations will result in fines, fees, and possible eviction with no refunds. Smoking is not allowed.
We are not responsible for any damage, injury, etc. that may occur in our home. If a person sustains an injury or loss, we will not be held responsible. If you damage or cause loss to our personal or real property, or otherwise arise out of activities related to this hosting platform, we will file a claim and take you to small claims court with a lawsuit against you. Please be responsible and treat our home like it is your own. This is a private home, not an event space and cleaning rules still apply. Do not trash the house and expect us not to charge you extra deep cleaning fees.
